Job Title: SAP International Taxation Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation of SAP and Vertex tax technology, including seamless integrations. As a senior or lead-level consultant, you will work independently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on system experience and a strong background in international indirect tax, including US sales & use tax, VAT for EU & international country taxes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand international indirect tax requirements, including US sales & use tax, VAT for EU & international country taxes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP and Vertex tax solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in international tax laws and regulations.
  • Configure and customize SAP and Vertex solutions to meet specific tax requirements.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance of implemented tax technology.
  • Participate in workshops and provide training to end-users on SAP and Vertex tax solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP and Vertex tax technology implementation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an International Indirect Tax Consultant, handling US sales & use tax, VAT for EU & international country taxes.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP and Vertex Tax technology implementation, including integrations.
  • In-depth knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead tax technology projects.
