About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team at SpeedMart. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle and SQL Server database systems.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. This includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of these databases. You will also collaborate with our IT professionals to implement database changes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and multitask with onshore and offshore teams

• Performance tuning/troubleshooting complex queries and server performance issues

• Proactively monitor the database and implement solutions to reduce incidents/issues

• Configure and maintain database servers and processes

• Monitor system health and performance

• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security

• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time

• Perform production support administration tasks, including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, tracing, backup, recovery, and on-call support

• Well-versed with replication methodology, HA configuration, failover in MS-SQL Database DB Backup configuration, restore database as needed

• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities

• Knowledge or experience with cloud technology like Azure is an added advantage

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in database administration of multiple databases like Oracle, MS-SQL, Aurora Oracle DB

• Sr. Oracle DBA (Oracle, RAC, OKV, ZDLRA, MS-SQL/Aurora/Mongo)

• 3+ years of experience with automation using at least one of Shell/Bash, Python ideally in a iAC/GIT environment

• Experience with RAC, installation, configuration, administration of ASM, cluster

• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle DB architecture, memory structure

• Strong experience, knowledge, and troubleshooting skills in RAC are a must

• Strong experience in OKV configuration, TDE concepts, patching RDBMS in RAC environment

• Experience in OEM administration

• Strong experience in RMAN Backup and restore, experience in ZDLRA

• Strong Data Guard knowledge and troubleshooting skills

• Good communication skills, strong Teamwork and organization skills MS-SQL DB

• Good hands-on experience in MS-SQL DB administration
