Job Purpose

As a data management specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the reference data for global markets and distributing that information across various systems. You will validate reference data as required by daily system workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily operations workflow processes for data management
  • Collaborate with a team to validate change promotions in production environments and configure changes in non-production settings
  • Investigate incoming data inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and escalate when necessary
  • Extract and analyze product data using different tools (SQL, Excel)
  • Develop customized methods to update product data according to business needs
  • Work with project teams and stakeholders to test new product configurations
  • Assist project management with tracking new product deployments
  • Support incident resolution with operations
  • Generate standardized reports for review by management on a monthly and quarterly basis
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • General interest in markets and experience with banking, trading, or related industries preferred
  • Basic PL/SQL knowledge preferred; moderate or advanced skills a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - strong Excel skills preferred, VBA experience a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude and understanding of technology's impact on delivery
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated individual
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Independent work capability and teamwork collaboration
  • Dynamic environment adaptability
  • Experience with object-oriented databases and API development a plus
  • Transaction volume management expertise a plus
