Data Engineering Position

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. This includes developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks for batch and real-time data processing, integrating data from various structured and unstructured sources, and ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop ETL/ELT Pipelines: Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks to create efficient data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
  • Integrate Structured and Unstructured Data Sources: Combine data from SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and external APIs to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Build and Maintain Data Models: Develop and maintain data models, data marts, and data warehouses using SQL Server and Azure Synapse Analytics to support analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Security: Implement data validation, monitoring, and auditing techniques to guarantee data quality, integrity, security, and compliance throughout the pipeline.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proven expertise in Azure Data Services: Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse.
  • Databricks (Azure implementation) with experience in Spark (Python or Scala).
  • Microsoft SQL Server: Writing advanced SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data governance, RBAC, and data security practices in Azure.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and version control with Git.
