About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to lead our procurement operations in Arakkonam. You will be responsible for executing procurement strategies, improving resource efficiency, and ensuring compliance with global best practices.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement plans that align with business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective execution of procurement activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to determine present and future material availability.
- Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
About You
- A minimum of 8 plus years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures, including MS-Excel, Word, Outlook proficiency.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
