Senior Electronics Systems Engineer

The Thales Group is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Hardware Engineering group, you will be responsible for leading the integration of hardware, firmware, and software.

In this role, you will design and develop reliable, cost-effective, customized products for aerospace applications. You will work on electronics systems design, obsolescence redesign, and trade analysis of design approaches.

You will also perform engineering simulations and modeling, derating analysis, and bench test setup. Additionally, you will develop qualification test procedures, qualification test reports, and other documents required by certification authorities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic design and development, including hardware design, development, and testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Experience in Electronic Design and Development: Must have hands-on experience in designing and developing electronic circuits, including microcontrollers, FPGA, and embedded firmware.
  • Hardware Design and Testing: Must have strong experience in hardware design, development, and testing, including product design, board level testing, integration, and validation testing.
  • Design and Simulation Tools: Must have knowledge of using design and simulation tools, including signal integrity, PCB layout, and manufacturing failures analysis.
  • Qualification and Certification: Must have experience in developing qualification test procedures, qualification test reports, and other documents required by certification authorities.
