Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our team.

This role involves guiding clients through their data modernization journey, working closely with software, data, and DevOps engineers to design, develop, deploy, and support the transformation of client's end-to-end data strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-first strategies, consulting clients on core bet-the-company data initiatives, providing thought leadership on process and technical matters, and becoming a trusted advisor to clients on all facets of Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing cloud-based solutions for data engineering and analytics
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
  • Providing expert advice on data infrastructure, architecture, and pipeline modernization
  • Mentoring and educating client teams to keep them up to speed with the latest approaches, tools, and skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification
  • Experience working in consulting or contracting capacity in large data management and modernization programs
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Servers, data engineering, and platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse
  • Strong knowledge of securing Azure environment, including RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Security Center
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spark, with extensive experience using them in a production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to get to the root of an issue quickly
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages, including PowerShell, Bash, and ARM templates
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
