Technical Product Visionary

  • The technical product visionary is responsible for setting the technology roadmap at a product level and executing on this vision to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and customer needs.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and building world-class products, establishing technical excellence, standards, and tooling, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and growth.
  • You will lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and continuous learning.
  • A Day in the Life
    • Working with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps and prioritize features.
    • Designing and implementing cutting-edge technologies and architectures to meet business objectives.
    • Leveraging expertise to drive process improvements, optimize productivity, and ensure technical excellence.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Developing and delivering training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

What You Need

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating world-class products.
  • Strong experience in delivering enterprise software products, including web and mobile applications.
  • Expertise in the latest front-end and back-end technologies, API/microservices architecture, serverless technologies, streaming technologies, middleware, distributed systems, logging, and SQL and NoSQL stores.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and CICD, release management, observability, and test tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services and Azure.
  • Ability to lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence peers and management and champion best practices.
  • Demonstrable ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
