Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production planning and execution, ensuring seamless operations within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet sales and operational requirements
  • Foster collaboration with procurement teams to ensure timely material ordering and receipt
  • Monitor capacity planning to optimize throughput and prevent bottlenecks
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products to support production schedules and customer demand
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Implement strategies for inventory optimization and monitor storage conditions in collaboration with warehouse teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Track production progress and adherence to schedules
  • Identify deviations or delays and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce unplanned downtime
  • Generate accurate and timely reports for production, on-time delivery, and inventory performance using ERP systems
  • Analyze plant performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare data-driven insights and periodic reports for management to inform strategic decision-making
