Master Rigger

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and related certifications.

• Carry out all types of rigging, lifting, shifting, loading, off-loading, and jacking & sliding at various units within the refinery.
• Conduct site visits to assess risks and prepare method statements, ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Supervise safe rigging and lifting activities in the oil and gas industry, executing tasks according to industry standards and best practices.
• Provide clear direction to support staff and field personnel to understand risks.
• Assess jobs, discuss requirements with the team, and document job assessments.
• Arrange lifting, rigging, and GBP calculations, as well as JHA (Job Hazard Analysis).
• Read and understand lifting plan drawings, ensure required documents are prepared for execution, and complete the job as per conditions.
• Issue and follow PTW (Permit to Work) approvals from concerned parties based on site conditions.
• Maintain records of safety TBTs, take signatures from concern teams before executing the job, and adhere to guidelines.
• Perform daily routine and non-routine maintenance jobs, such as motor, pump, valve exchanger bundle cooler, blower replacement, spools, fin fan, bundle coolers, and bearing replacement, safely following industry standards and best practices.
• Ensure proper housekeeping after job completion and communicate effectively with the Heavy Equipment Supervisor to manage further schedules.

• Extensive experience in rigging and lifting operations
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP
