Front-End Engineering Lead

The role of Front-End Engineering Manager involves leading the development of scalable and maintainable solutions for existing websites using modular and reusable components.
Key responsibilities include driving new development efforts, guiding team members, providing high-level direction on front-end architecture and technical design/implementation of our websites, maintaining and improving overall performance, ensuring compliance with current standards and best practices, reviewing team designs for deployment safety, resilience, scale, performance, and security, and facilitating feedback and discussions with Product and UX Design.
A strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture is essential, as is experience with website Search technologies and solutions like OpenSearch, Solr, and Elastic Search. DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git) are also crucial.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of extensive experience with Drupal architecture, APIs, and module development, proficiency in the LAMP stack and front-end technologies, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
