We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Data Migration Specialist to manage and execute the migration of CAD data between platforms efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CAD tools, proficiency in using Elysium and Siemens CMM (Content Migration Manager) Tool for data migration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute the migration of CAD data from legacy systems to target platforms using Elysium and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of CAD data throughout the migration process.
  • Leverage Elysium features to optimize geometry validation, model cleanup, and data translation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure seamless data integration.
  • Perform quality checks on migrated data, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD migration, file conversion, and compatibility.
  • Document processes, challenges, and solutions for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Certification in CAD or related tools.
    • Experience in large-scale CAD migrations across diverse platforms.
    • Familiarity with advanced Elysium modules and Siemens CMM (Content Migration Manager).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of CAD file formats and data structures (e.g., STEP, IGES, JT).
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and data management.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
