Compliance Risk Manager Senior Vice President

At Citigroup, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to join our team as a Senior Compliance Officer in the Global Legal Affairs and Compliance department. This role is responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation. The successful candidate will design and deliver a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protect the franchise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of function/business/product and the related operations and financial requirements. They will also possess knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, FEMA, and related regulations. The ability to provide guidance on rules and regulations, master directions relating to FEMA, Loans & Advances, Trade Finance, Cash Management/Liquidity transactions, Payment Aggregators, transactional approvals, and interpretation of internal compliance policies is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance risk behaviors, providing day-to-day Compliance advice, assisting with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations, performing timely compliance reviews of new products, researching any new reform rules and rule changes, implementing policies, procedures or other controls necessary to comply with the rules, designing, developing, delivering and maintaining best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM.
You will also be responsible for managing a team or multiple teams of Compliance professionals, serving as a subject matter expert on Citi's Compliance programs, providing expert guidance on function/business/product regulations on a real-time basis to manage compliance risk, staying abreast of relevant changes to rules/regulations and other industry news, including regulatory findings, overseeing the monitoring and identification of regulatory developments, analyzing and scoping the impact of new and complex regulatory developments across senior function/business/product, advising ICRM and function/business/product management and personnel on regulatory and compliance issues, and participating in industry groups and trade association working groups or other forums.
