Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The company is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join its team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

  • This position involves executing, supporting, and continuously improving quality assurance processes within the DevSecOps department.
  • A key focus area is test planning, code quality enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and release readiness to ensure secure and reliable software delivery across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for application interfaces and operations.
  2. Maintain high-quality standards through Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics.
  3. Track defects from QA findings to ensure timely resolution.
  4. Conduct thorough release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment.
  5. Prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews.
  6. Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio.
  7. Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with development leads, operations, and service teams.
  9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues.
  10. Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures to ensure seamless workflow.
  11. Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
  • In-depth knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable but not mandatory.
