Job Description

This is a full-time, fully remote role for a Cloud Engineer at a leading tech firm. You'll work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a global team of engineers, developers, and strategists who are building cloud infrastructure that powers platforms serving millions of users.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure that scales, secures, and performs under real-world demand. You will play a critical role in ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across all projects.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Architecting and maintaining cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53).
  • Automating deployments, scaling, and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud redundancy.
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices across cloud services.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance.
  • Collaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and app integrations.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53).
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Skilled in Linux administration, networking, and security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.
  • Certifications in cloud architecture or engineering are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
