About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional individual to develop, manage, and execute a customer-focused content publishing strategy for our medical reference products. This includes defining content development plans, developing content, determining formats, and multimedia components. You will be accountable for managing budgets, schedules, reporting, and contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities- Anticipate and resolve content rendering issues, guiding authors to prepare high-quality content that benefits customers.
- Plan and develop content for electronic and print delivery that meets market needs and increases product market share.
- Advise on content writing and development to optimize online discovery.
- Participate in planning and implementing content delivery and updates for ClinicalKey, Expert Consult, and other platforms.
- Develop and communicate guidelines for writers regarding content and e-content enhancements, formats, and extent.
- Familiarity with requirements for content to move smoothly through the publishing process internally or with vendors.
- Ability to manage e-development and assignments for online or e-book development projects.
- Experience with technology, including e-books, tablets, and online tools.
- Experience managing writers/SMEs, multiple high-priority projects, and acceptable digital text and art formats.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and internet research.
- Basic understanding of EPUB, HTML5, and XML as they relate to e-book publishing processes.
