Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist with experience in API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with popular testing tools and frameworks, CI/CD practices, and be comfortable working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Automate API testing for faster regression and continuous validation.
  • Design and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
  • Log, track, and manage bugs using agile project management tools and collaborate with development teams.
  • Build and manage test automation pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
  • Use Visual Studio or VS Code as primary IDEs to develop automation scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
  • Ensure complete test coverage and conduct smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in API testing, both manual and automated.
  • Experience with agile project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs and JSON/XML formats.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in end-to-end automation framework development.
  • Exposure to web UI automation tools or frameworks.
