Job Responsibilities:

  • Advice students on various universities, courses, admission requirements, entrance exams, and scholarships in the UK.
  • Counsel students over the phone and provide assistance for various courses suitable for them.
  • Provide information on desired courses, based on students' needs and aspirations.
  • Telephonic counseling on leads from all sources and invite students to walk in for counseling.
  • Regular follow-ups with students to ensure they meet their academic goals.
  • Flexible and able to meet individual needs by providing person-specific attention.
  • Assist students with visa requirements for the UK.
  • Represent the company during UK Education Fairs and Events.
  • Liaise with universities and university officers.
  • Contribute to developing the SI-Global brand.
  • Meet deadlines and targets.
  • Possess a sales attitude, good communication, and influencing skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in any subject.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of work experience as a Counsellor in Study abroad/Overseas Education industry, preferably in the UK.

Desired Skills:

  • Good command over English (verbal and written) and fluent in local language.
  • Hardworking and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in challenging situations and stick to deadlines.
  • Ability to use databases.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills – Internet, Windows environment, MS office.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, respect for others, accountability, and loyalty.
