Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our high-performance back end systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance back end systems using Node.js, Nginx, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, and Linux.
  • Work closely with the team to mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the business team and product owners to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain and improve our existing back end systems, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
  • Develop complex distributed systems on public cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging team members to try new approaches and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in back end development with a strong focus on Node.js and advanced JavaScript.
  • Experience with HTTP and server-side technologies, including web servers, database servers, and caching systems.
  • Excellent understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high availability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
