Job Title: Laboratory Instructor – School of Allied and Healthcare Professions

Location: Bengaluru, India

Employment Type: Full-Time.

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled professionals to support teaching, training, and skill development of students enrolled in Allied and Healthcare programs. The candidate will assist faculty members in delivering practical sessions, maintaining lab safety, and ensuring the availability and calibration of lab equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions for undergraduate students in allied and healthcare programs.
  • Assist in preparation, demonstration, and evaluation of practical skills aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and ensure timely calibration and servicing.
  • Enforce safety protocols, infection control measures, and proper waste disposal practices.
  • Collaborate with academic faculty to align laboratory content with theoretical components of the course.
  • Provide technical support to students during skill development and internal assessments.
  • Participate in curriculum review and development of new laboratory manuals.
  • Maintain documentation for laboratory sessions, stock registers, and compliance audits.
  • Facilitate internal and external practical examinations and simulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in relevant Allied and Healthcare field from a recognized university. A Master's Degree or additional certifications are an added advantage.

Candidates should also have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a laboratory/clinical setting or academic institution. Prior experience in academic instruction is preferred.
