Job Overview

As a seasoned Python Cloud Architect with Azure expertise, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud-based systems on the Azure platform. Your primary focus will be on developing and deploying Python applications and services that meet our high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or similar services.
  • Work with Azure Functions for serverless computing and develop event-driven architectures.
  • Utilize Azure Storage services (Blob Storage, Data Lake Storage) for data storage and processing.
  • Develop and maintain APIs using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to documentation and best practices, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer within the team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Python development, preferably in cloud-based environments.
  • 3+ year of experience with Azure cloud platform, including its various services and features.
  • Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn (if relevant to data-focused roles).
  • Experience with RESTful API development and familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and a strong understanding of cloud architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
