Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned cloud architect, adept at crafting enterprise-grade cloud-native infrastructure on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud-Native Architecture – Define the end-to-end architecture for AKS-based workloads in Azure, leveraging best practices for scalability, security, and governance.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery – Design multi-environment, multi-region AKS architectures that ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Container Orchestration – Establish efficient container orchestration strategies, ensuring seamless scaling, deployment, and management of AKS workloads.
  • Cost Optimization – Develop strategies to optimize costs associated with AKS and related Azure resources, ensuring maximum ROI.
Azure & AKS Expertise:
  • Cluster Provisioning – Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI / Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration.
  • Integration and Security – Integrate AKS with supporting Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus & Grafana, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Key Vault, ensuring robust security and compliance.
DevOps & Automation:
  • Infrastructure as Code – Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning, promoting consistency and reproducibility.
  • GitOps Workflows – Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments using ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tools, ensuring streamlined delivery and reduced risk.
  • CI/CD Architecture – Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for AKS workloads, ensuring fast and reliable software delivery.
Security & Compliance:
  • Access Management – Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access, ensuring secure and controlled access to resources.
  • Compliance Frameworks – Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements: 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles; 5+ years hands-on Azure experience; deep AKS expertise; and certifications like Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are highly desirable. We value experience with service mesh architectures and familiarity with multi-cluster management tools.
