Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned ETL Tester with expertise in Google Cloud Platform to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating the performance of complex ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design documents
  • Configure DEV/UAT environments in Teradata/Unix/Hadoop
  • Estimate space and allocate it to Teradata DBs in SIT/UAT
  • Capture seed data from production to test environment using Teradata utilities
  • Set up ETL jobs in regression effort and execute flow in Autosys and Mainframe
  • Analyze tasks, participate in Daily Status Update calls, and defect review meetings
  • Develop effective SQL scripts to validate Change Data Capture logic in Teradata
  • Create automation script modules in TOSCA to execute regression scripts and upload results to Qtest/QC

Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of overall testing experience
  • Mastery of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
  • Knowledge of structured and unstructured file formats, including Avro and Parquet files
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
  • Azure Synapse Workspace knowledge, including Pipelines and Spark Notebooks
  • Functional/Regression testing experience
  • Test Automation experience
  • Git expertise
  • ETL knowledge and experience working with large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, and Java
  • Good understanding of Data Governance concepts and data architectures
