Job Title: Vice President of IT

DP World Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of IT to lead our technology infrastructure strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the CIO of the India and Subcontinent region to develop and execute the technology infrastructure strategy for all business units, sea and inland terminals, warehouses, transportation hubs, and regional and commercial offices.
  • Collaborate with Technology Delivery Leads to plan and implement various technology solutions, covering the entire technology stack, and identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
  • Monitor the performance of information technology systems and networks to determine cost and productivity levels and implement improvements.
  • Lead the 24X7 IT support helpdesk, providing L1 support for applications and L1/L2/L3 support for all IT hardware, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot systems issues and interface with application providers, data centre teams, and systems vendors on support issues.
  • Provide infrastructure services vision, enable innovation, and leverage IT trends to create business value consistent with the company's requirements and expectations.
  • Work closely with global stakeholders, Sub-continent Leadership, and understand business goals to develop enterprise standards, technology architecture, and IT operations governance processes.
  • Influence IT, infrastructure, networking, and InfoSec policies and governance processes globally by partnering with peers across regions and DP World HO.
  • Lead proactive need analysis, demand forecasting, planning, sourcing, and timely deployment of all IT assets.
  • Conduct product and vendor evaluations to ensure best-in-class technologies and partners.
  • Establish and maintain strategic vendor partner relationships, setting up governance processes and building relationships to create value for the organization.
  • Provide hands-on technical depth to oversee, problem-solve, and lead complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Ensure Info Security & Cyber Security Compliance as per Regulatory Standards & Standard Industry Guidelines.
  • Maintain beyond hygiene security of Cloud, Data & IT Systems, handle security incidents, and prepare RCA.
  • Create a Data Centre policy for our Ports and Terminals, build the team, execute, and maintain it.
  • Lead and manage a team of around 100+ IT executives (FTEs & contractors), constantly raising the bar.
