Geotechnical Leadership Role

Our organization seeks a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer to spearhead and supervise various activities in the Geotechnical domain for a large-scale open pit mine operation with a complex geological setting.

This position is critical to our project's success, requiring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Conduct geotechnical studies and prepare pre-feasibility and feasibility reports to inform design decisions.
  • Lead stability analysis and simulation modeling initiatives related to mine operation pit design.
  • Develop and implement slope stabilization and monitoring strategies.
  • Implement schemes derived from simulation models to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A postgraduate degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or Mining Engineering is required.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
