Job Title: Security/IT Analyst

About the Role:

We seek a proactive detail-oriented Security Analyst to drive key security initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with foundational cybersecurity knowledge or a strong interest paired with excellent organizational and communication skills.

As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in enabling our security function to operate smoothly by managing operational workflows, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting security process implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning, documentation, and execution of security initiatives.
  • Prepare responses to security surveys, RFPs, and vendor assessments.
  • Track ongoing security tasks, audits, and compliance activities.

Operational Execution:

  • Coordinate meetings and communications related to security initiatives.
  • Manage scheduling across time zones and ensure timely follow-ups on action items.
  • Assist with handling confidential documents and security-related onboarding materials.

Process & Documentation:

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of security processes, risk registers, and procedural workflows.
  • Support preparation of internal reports and presentations on security projects.

Administrative & Logistical Support:

  • Handle basic admin tasks including expense reports, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
  • Assist in management of tools and platforms used by the security team.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in an administrative, operations, or coordination role preferably in a startup or technology environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Foundational knowledge of security principles or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Experience working remotely and collaborating with global distributed teams.
  • Tech-savvy comfortable using tools like Google Workspace Slack Zoom and task/project management platforms.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience supporting security engineering or compliance teams.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks like ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR.
  • Exposure to security operations risk management or compliance programs.
