Job Summary:

Expeditors is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Administrator to join its Data Centers team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.

  • Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure: The Cloud Administrator will design and deploy secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure to support Expeditors' business objectives.
  • Monitor System Performance: The Cloud Administrator will monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud issues using Azure tools.
  • Implement Security Best Practices: The Cloud Administrator will implement security best practices, identity management, and network security to ensure the integrity of Expeditors' cloud environments.
  • Automate Deployments: The Cloud Administrator will automate deployments and configurations using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Manage Cloud Resources: The Cloud Administrator will manage cloud resources and optimize costs to ensure the most efficient use of Expeditors' cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Cloud Administrator must have strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills to effectively work with Expeditors' teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Azure Services: The Cloud Administrator must have proficiency in Azure services, including Azure File Sync, Active Directory integration, and Azure Monitor.
  • Experience with Cloud Cost Optimization: The Cloud Administrator must have experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and best practices to ensure the most efficient use of Expeditors' cloud resources.
