About the Role

Lockton is seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our Domestic Non-Employee Benefit Corporate Sales initiatives in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. This individual will lead the Corporate Sales Function, responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining corporate clients.

  • This role aims to drive business growth by actively engaging with corporate clients, understanding their risk profiles, and offering tailored insurance solutions that align with their business objectives.
Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients by understanding their insurance needs and offering bespoke solutions.
  2. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
  3. Setting and achieving ambitious sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and upselling to existing corporate clients.
  4. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
  5. Conducting market research to identify potential corporate clients and market trends relevant to the insurance industry.
  6. Prospecting new clients, analyzing their risk profiles, and creating compelling insurance proposals tailored to their needs.
  7. Delivering persuasive presentations to clients, explaining insurance solutions and negotiating policy terms and conditions to secure deals.
  8. Collaborating with underwriters and insurers to negotiate favorable terms on behalf of clients.
  9. Ensuring accurate and complete documentation of policies, contracts, and client information in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  10. Adhering to all legal and compliance standards while handling client transactions and business operations.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, insurance, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in corporate sales, business development, or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Relevant certifications in sales, business development, or insurance broking.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and sales-related software.
