We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Centre Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner">
  • Implement and maintain our incident response plan, including developing and updating policies and procedures as needed">
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including system administrators, IT operations, and business units to ensure a seamless response to security events">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and share knowledge with other security professionals within the organisation">
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our security posture through the implementation of best practices and industry standards">
  • Develop and deliver regular security reports and updates to senior management">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • 5 years of experience in a security operations centre or similar environment">
  • Proven track record of managing and responding to security incidents">
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment">
  • Strong understanding of security tools and technologies, including UEBA, SOAR, and TIP">
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to data breaches">
  • Good understanding of Incident life cycle and Triage process">
  • Good experience in OS logs, WAF, IPS, firewall etc. log analysis">
  • Knowledge of Threat Intelligence and Security Advisories research and analysis">
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA Security + CEH or relevant">
  • Incident Handling and relevant certification">
