Automation Tester Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

This is a key role in our organization, requiring strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. As an Automation Tester, you will work closely with the development and QA teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop automation scripts.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
  • Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT, ETC) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Proven experience of 4+ years as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
