Job Title: AS400 Programmer

We are looking for an experienced programmer to join our team and work on the IBM AS400 iSeries platform.

  • Key Skills:
  • iSeries platform, RPGLE programming, Integrated Language Environment (ILE), SEU, PDM, DFU, Spool files, iSeries Navigator, Integrated File System (IFS), Web Services, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, test, and debug RPG/CL programs.
  2. Create and implement solutions using IBM AS400 iSeries platform.
  3. Design and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  4. Mentor junior developers and ensure smooth project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming. They should be proficient in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and able to create and debug RPG/CL programs. Additionally, they should have knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files, as well as experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS). Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is a plus. The candidate should also be able to handle client requirements, create design documents, and walk clients through the development process. Finally, they should be able to mentor junior developers and ensure successful project delivery.
