Blockchain Engineer for Real-Time Pricing

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled engineer to build the core infrastructure that powers real-time pricing and analytics in DeFi. You will play a key role in transforming raw on-chain data into actionable insights by decoding smart contract events and implementing pricing logic from decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

This is an exciting opportunity to tackle complex and novel engineering problems in the blockchain data space.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols, including Uniswap, Curve, and Balancer.
  • Create efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines using Go or Rust programming languages.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and efficient backend code.

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in blockchain and DeFi domains.
  • Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially AMM math formulas: x * y = k.
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and own complex systems from design to deployment.
