Job Description for Senior Design Leader

This is a senior-level position that requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in mechanical/aeronautical engineering and extensive experience in managing design teams.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in metallic and composites design, as well as knowledge of industry standards and best practices. They will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables meet all requirements.

Key responsibilities include reviewing safety occurrences, coordinating with quality assurance departments, and maintaining lists of nominees and signatories. As a proactive leader, the successful candidate will drive technical initiatives, best practices, and innovations within the organization.

In addition to technical expertise, the selected individual should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in project management, risk mitigation, and problem-solving.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies that meet business objectives.
