We are seeking a talented professional to spearhead our Business Intelligence Unit in Mumbai/Bangalore. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making within our organization.

Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and strategic thinking will help support business growth and development. A Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Operational Research, CA, or Engineering from a reputable institution is essential.

This role requires 2+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in financial services or retail businesses. You should have a proven track record of leading and mentoring data scientists.

Strong proficiency in Python, model development, validation, machine learning, NLP, and marketing analytics is required. Hands-on experience with analytics tools like R, SQL, Power BI, and MS Excel is also necessary.

Deep knowledge of predictive analytics techniques (machine learning algorithms, logistic & linear regression, decision trees, clustering) is essential. Expertise in exploratory data analysis (data preparation, exploration, and visualization) is also required.

Data Analysis & Modelling:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
  • Translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Effectively communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to shape the data science roadmap.

This role requires strong expertise in Python, model development, validation, machine learning, NLP, Gen AI, and marketing analytics. Exceptional communication and project management skills are also crucial.
