ResMed is a leading healthcare technology company that is revolutionizing the way people receive care outside of the hospital. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and help us design and code industry-disruptive products with the latest tools and technologies.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for writing Java code to improve existing software solutions, services, components, and interfaces. You will also write software tests and unit tests to validate software solutions leveraging test-driven development techniques. Additionally, you will design and create relational databases leveraging data management and data structure best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and data migration techniques. You will also have experience with Object Oriented Programming, Java, Spring, Microservices, REST APIs, and AWS. Experience with CI/CD systems, infrastructure solutions, and deployment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write Java code to improve existing software solutions, services, components, and interfaces
  • Write software tests and unit tests to validate software solutions leveraging test-driven development techniques
  • Design and create relational databases leveraging data management and data structure best practices
  • Write Java code to implement new software solutions, services, components, and interfaces
  • Build and deploy software packages using Continuous Integration and Continuous Development best practices for delivering software as a service
  • Participate in architectural, design, and code reviews providing insight to other engineers and their solutions
  • Leverage known design patterns to design new software solutions, services, components, and interfaces for ResMed family of products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues leveraging software algorithm design best practices
  • Leverage known secure programming principles to design new software solutions, services, components, and interfaces that meet industry and government standards for security and data protection

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
  • 7+ years' experience as a full-stack software engineer
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with database design and data migration techniques
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming
  • Development experience with Java, Spring, Microservices
  • Experience developing enterprise software applications in an n-tier architecture
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience developing multi-threaded applications
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD systems
  • Exposure to infrastructure solutions and deployment
  • Good understanding of NoSQL and its data modeling
  • Solid Exposure to distributed technologies (Kafka, Hadoop, ElasticSearch)
  • Understanding of MDM and MQ technologies
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
