Portfolio Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Portfolio Research Analyst with strong expertise in portfolio rebalancing and deep knowledge of investment products such as Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds, and Portfolio Management Services. This role requires an individual who can conduct thorough analysis and provide informed recommendations to optimize asset allocation and manage risk-adjusted returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Analysis: Conduct comprehensive portfolio analysis and rebalancing to ensure optimal asset allocation and minimize risk.
  • Investment Research: Perform research and due diligence on various investment products, including Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds, and Portfolio Management Services, to support informed investment decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and track the performance of client portfolios against benchmarks and market trends.
  • Customized Investment Strategies: Collaborate with portfolio managers to design tailored investment strategies that meet the unique needs and goals of clients.
  • Research Reports: Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and client notes to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Rebalancing Strategies: Develop and implement effective rebalancing strategies to maintain optimal asset allocation and minimize risk.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, CFP, or NISM are highly valued.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory is preferred.
  • Portfolio Rebalancing Techniques: Strong understanding of portfolio rebalancing techniques and asset allocation models is essential.
  • Investment Products: In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PMS structures, strategies, and regulatory aspects is necessary.
  • Financial Modeling & Analytical Tools: Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and analytical tools such as Bloomberg or Morningstar is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.
