Job Overview

The role of Actuarial Specialist - UK Pensions involves working closely with analysts and consulting teams to deliver a superior client experience through meticulous work and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly check all work to minimize rework and meet quality standards
  • Monitor progress to ensure timely completion
  • Effectively manage projects and MetriX
  • Provide regular feedback and coach team members to become competent independent professionals
  • Participate in knowledge sharing/training/process improvement initiatives and test new tools/processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduation in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or a related field
  • 2-5 years of actuarial experience
  • Knowledge of pension or PRM and actuarial fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of actuarial valuation tools
  • Strong EXCEL and Word skills
  • Excellent communication and good coaching skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deliver quality, timely results
