This role requires someone who has expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure systems, with experience as a reliability engineer being a plus. You should have proficiency in at least one programming language and a good understanding of software delivery principles. Additionally, you should be able to adapt quickly to different roles and technologies when needed.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools like Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Envoy, Nomad, Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and cloud security best practices. Experience with primary cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure is also desired. Understanding of distributed systems and ability to collaborate with development teams to improve observability systems is essential.
