Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Business Operations Specialist role.

  • This position demands advanced analytical skills, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in managing projects across the software development lifecycle.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in SDLC, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong UML, BPMN, and data mapping skills are required.
  • A certification in CBAP or PMI-PBA is mandatory; PMP certification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for driving projects through the entire SDLC using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.

Foster collaboration and facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

Create and interpret UML/BPMN diagrams, ER diagrams, and perform data mapping activities.

Design test cases, UAT scenarios, and manage defect resolution.

Lead gap analysis, requirements traceability, and change management activities.

Mentor junior analysts and lead project teams.

Leverage project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, and Asana.

Utilize diagramming/wireframing tools such as Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio, Balsamiq, Miro, Whimsical, Adobe XD, and Figma.

Collaborate with QA teams using TestRail, Zephyr, Browserstack, and Jira QA plugins like Xray.

Understand DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and basic AWS services.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools, excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT services as a Business Analyst.
  • Expertise in SDLC, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong UML, BPMN, and data mapping skills.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
  • Certifications: CBAP and PMI-PBA required; PMP preferred.
