Job Overview

As a Quantitative Trader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithmic trading strategies using quantitative methods. This role involves conducting research on cryptocurrency markets, analyzing large datasets, and creating research reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of cryptocurrency market trends, price modeling, and volatility analysis
  • Developing and backtesting algorithmic trading strategies using quantitative methods and programming languages such as Python
  • Analyzing large datasets from multiple exchanges to identify patterns and optimize trading opportunities
  • Creating detailed research reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with engineers to integrate research into production trading systems
  • Supporting the development of risk management and portfolio optimization models

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Econometrics)
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or econometrics (e.g., probability, linear algebra, calculus)
  • Programming experience in Python, R, MATLAB, or related tools
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and trading concepts
  • Experience with data libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, and statistical modeling techniques
  • Interest in time series analysis and algorithmic trading strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication and ability to present research findings effectively
