Database Development Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex relational databases. This includes creating efficient and optimized SQL queries and ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer with hands-on experience in database development and management.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models (normalized and denormalized) for transactional and analytical purposes.
  • Maintaining high-level database security, integrity, and availability is crucial for the success of our organization.

Key Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in database development and management.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • ETL tools Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.
  • Data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization).
  • Performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).

Bonus Points: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark would be an added advantage.
