Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented software developer with 5-7 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
  • Perform manual testing when needed for exploratory, regression, and functional tests.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other quality assurance team members to understand features and technical implementations.
  • Develop robust test strategies and test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and ensure defects are clearly documented and resolved.
  • Participate in code reviews for test scripts and contribute to quality assurance best practices.
  • Mentor junior quality assurance engineers and share knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Playwright automation, including framework setup (API + UI).
  • Proven experience with Selenium.
  • Good knowledge in Java/JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in in-sprint automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD integration.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor.
  • Strong skills in test strategy and test case preparation.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments is a plus (can be learned on the job).
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation and a solid understanding of QA methodologies. The successful candidate will be able to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, perform manual testing when needed, and collaborate with developers and other quality assurance team members.
