Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to fill this role.

This position involves designing and developing complex parts using CAD software, with a focus on Creo.

The ideal candidate will apply knowledge of part design, GD&T, and SPI standards for plastic design to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will collaborate with plastic tool makers and injection molders to ensure design for manufacture requirements.

  • Generate creative solutions to complex problems and apply design thinking principles.
  • Develop electromechanical enclosures and apply good design practices.
  • Conduct structural analysis of molded parts and demonstrate expertise in mechanical engineering design.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize designs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in CAD design.
  • Highly proficient in CAD software, specifically Creo.
  • Expertise in part design, GD&T, and SPI standards for plastic design.
