Achieving Success as a Senior Auditor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional with 1-3 years of experience in assurance. The candidate must possess strong technical skills, be computer literate, and have prior experience in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely identification of accounting issues, clearly documenting facts and findings, and discussing with senior/Assistant Managers.
  • Work on a variety of different auditing projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide a review of work product and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Be willing and able to service multiple client engagements at the same time, managing workload effectively.
  • Development of one-on-one relationships with US-based audit leads, fostering strong communication skills.
  • Ensuring that reports sent to clients are accurate and sent within scheduled timeframes, meeting deadlines.
  • Drive quality project deliverables, prioritizing tasks and meeting expectations.
  • Participate in Training and Development to hone skills of peers and self, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Build internal auditing systems and ensure their correct application, maintaining high standards.
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with current legislation and best practices, adhering to regulations.
  • Verify company financial information, conducting thorough reviews.
  • Prepare audit reports and statements for review, presenting findings clearly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field. CA/CPA certification is highly valued.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, demonstrating initiative.
  • Organizational skills to provide client reports within scheduled time frames, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail, striving for excellence.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems, staying updated with industry software.
  • Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office, utilizing technology effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills, building rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Possesses a combination of both problem-solving and innovation skills to attend to several technical production challenges, thinking critically.
