About the Position

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to support our investment team in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in investments in industrial/services - non-FS sector in India.
  • They will be responsible for reviewing company analysis & industry analysis prepared by analysts, evaluating opportunities including valuations, and negotiating term sheets.
  • Additionally, they will monitor the performance of companies post-investment, work with portfolio companies to drive strategy, growth, fund raising, etc., and ensure all fund-related compliance with respect to portfolio companies.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 7-8 years overall experience, CA/MBA (Finance) from a reputable institute / university, or 4-5 years focused on investments in industrial/services - non-FS sector in India.
  • They will also have exposure to infrastructure deals, actively worked on transactions across sectors, and understand various technical and commercial aspects.
  • Furthermore, they will have experience in leading due diligence, understanding of legal documentation / structuring, ability to build new sector thesis and identify & originate deal targets, lead, negotiate, and structure transactions independently (end-to-end), and experience in portfolio management.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills, first-rate financial modeling skills, strong grasp of fundamental accounting and valuation concepts, and good organizing and query handling capabilities.
