Lead Developer for Robust Stamping Components

As a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in stamping component industrialisation, you will spearhead the development of innovative and high-quality tools and components.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define components and work with purchasing to select suppliers for stamping parts and tools.
  • Prepare tool specifications, DFM, and strip layouts, reviewing tool designs for their capability to deliver robust parts and critical-to-quality (CTQ) features along with process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA).
  • Select, validate, introduce, and standardise new technologies and processes in the stamping components domain.
  • Estimate tool and part costing, plan and schedule tool manufacturing, and establish stamping process parameters.
  • Obtain plant acceptance and provide final sign-off on tools and processes.
  • Pursue continuous improvement actions for tools and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Tool and Die Making.
  • 15 years of experience in stamping tooling development and moulding process development.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work successfully in a multicultural virtual environment.
  • Experience working with suppliers, supporting and troubleshooting moulding process and tooling issues, and implementing process improvements in a moulding tooling environment.

This role is a full-time position requiring a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead the industrialisation of stamping components.
