Job Summary

This is an office-based position where you will play an integral role in building out a cost management platform internally. As a Cost Engineer, you will handle project management and execution, prioritize projects based on implementation time and impact on internal product cost management strategy, and work with subject matter experts to deeply understand manufacturing processes/operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical implementation of the aPriori platform
  • Prioritize projects based on implementation time and impact on internal product cost management strategy
  • Support aPriori solution configuration, modeling manufacturing facilities, capabilities, rules, and accounting rates
  • Work with subject matter experts to understand manufacturing processes/operations

Requirements:

  • B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tools
  • 1-5 years' experience in costing of metallic components or 5 to 10 years' experience in costing of metallic components with Die Design
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, understanding of design and manufacturing challenges, strong negotiation skills, exposure to machining shop floor & supply chain
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel, basic scripting language, and CAD (a plus)
