Role Overview

The Global Program Management - Operation Excellence role focuses on reducing costs in biopharmaceutical manufacturing while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.

This position requires a strong understanding of biosimilar development, manufacturing processes, and regulatory frameworks. The successful candidate will have experience in leading successful cost reduction initiatives and possess a deep understanding of bioprocessing (upstream, downstream, fill-finish).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. COST REDUCTION INITIATIVES
  • Develop and execute a multi-year COGS reduction roadmap aligned with business objectives, focusing on COGS analysis & benchmarking, strategy development, process optimization, procurement & sourcing, supply chain optimization, quality & regulatory, financial modeling & reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  1. BIOSIMILAR EXPERTISE
  • Deep knowledge of biosimilar development, manufacturing processes, and regulatory frameworks, including upstream and downstream processes, and fill-finish operations.
  1. LEADERSHIP SKILLS
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive COGS reduction initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or specialized certifications in cost management or lean manufacturing preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or operations, with at least 3 years focusing on biosimilars.
  • Proven track record of leading successful COGS reduction initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
