We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst.

Job Description

This role involves ensuring timely processing of invoices in line with company procedures and controls, investigating aged payments, and resolving queries/disputes. You will also be responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders to obtain approvals and authorization for payment, reviewing and checking supplier master data, handling email and telephone queries, reconciling direct debit accounts, setting up one-off payments, releasing approved purchase orders, and ensuring audit controls are strictly adhered to.

You will also prepare weekly and process multi-currency payments, reconcile the company credit card programs, and check HMRC for latest employee expense claim guidance updates. Additionally, you will provide cover during team member absences, actively participate in projects impacting Accounts Payable, and take an active role in training and testing new systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Accounts Payable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and financial systems.
  • Experience of using MS Word Excel - pivot tables, vlookups simple formulas.
  • Account reconciliation experience.
  • Self-motivated and flexible.
  • Good communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the business.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Team player.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Background within the finance functions of a European technology company.
