SAP Project Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of SAP projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Incident Management:

  • Ensure timely and effective handling of SAP incidents through oversight of incident resolution processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues.
  • Maintain incident logs and generate reports for analysis and improvement purposes.

Scrum Master Duties:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Counsel teams on Agile/Scrum principles and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Remove impediments and ensure team productivity by providing necessary support and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in SAP project management and incident handling.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, SD, MM, HCM).
  • Hold certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable.
  • Be proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and SAP Solution Manager.
